The Public Relations Cell of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) serves as the communication bridge between the Authority and the public, media, and stakeholders. 

Function of Public Relations Cell : 

The PR Cell is responsible for : 

• Coordinating with print, digital, and electronic media for coverage of MMRDA’s initiatives, projects, and events. 
• Drafting and releasing official press releases in Marathi, and other essential languages; issuing official statements and responses. 
• Managing public communication for major events including foundation stone-laying ceremonies, inaugurations, MoU signings, and more. 
• Developing social media content and Films for public dissemination. 
• Ensuring consistent and clear communication with citizens, partner agencies, contractors, and allied bodies.
